Saratoga Farmers' Market Association
The Saratoga Farmers’ Market Association (SMFA) is over 30 years old. It began with a small group of local farmers in a parking lot and is now a group of over 50 vendors selling product. The SMFA pride themselves on being a local, producer only market. Unlike other markets, everything sold at the Saratoga Farmers’ Market must be produced locally (within 50 miles). This means the products are fresh, unique and locally supportive of our community—economically, ecologically and socially.
The market is a social destination as well as a place of business. It’s a place where locals shop while catching up with friends and neighbors. With live music, chef demonstrations and special events, the Saratoga Farmers’ Market is a regular social gathering spot for locals and a must visit for tourists.
